Polish metal band Crystal Viper want fans to be involved with their next album. Vocalist Marta Gabriel explains: "Here's the deal: we want to have YOUR scream on the next Crystal Viper album! How to do it? Simply record yourself screaming: use your Iphone, smartphone, computer, or any other recording device you can find, and send mp3 or wav file with the recording to mail@skolrecords.com - just type ‘CRYSTAL VIPER SCREAM’ in the subject line - and don't forget to tell us your full name, as you will be listed in the booklet of the next album as a special guest!" Fans can submit their recordings until August 15, with the album due out in December.

Katatonia To Record Sem-Acoustic Album » 19 Jun 13
Katatonia are to release an album titled ‘Dethroned And Uncrowned’ on September 9. This is a semi-acoustic, stripped down version of current album ‘Dead End Kings’. The band have funded this through Crowdfunding. And the Swedes will support Paradise Lost at: Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall October 30, Glasgow O2 ABC 31, Manchester Ritz November 1, London Roundhouse 3. Katatonia will be performing the whole of their 2003 album ‘Viva Emptiness’. Also on the bill are Lacuna Coil.

Ministry: Album, Book And DVD On The Way » 19 Jun 13
Ministry are to release new album ‘From Beer To Eternity’ through 13th Planet on September 6. And mainman Al Jourgensen will have his authorised biography published on July 9. It’s to be titled ‘Ministry: The Lost Gospels According To All Jourgensen’. And the two-disc DVD ‘Ministry: Enjoy The Quiet - Live At Wacken 2012’ will be out in early August.
