A documentary celebrating the Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary is to be screened at cinemas in the UK during October. Titled ‘Crossfire Hurricane’, it has previously unseen footage, plus commentary from the band.
A second documentary ‘The Rolling Stones Charlie Is My Darling – Ireland 1965’, is to get its premier on September 29 at the 50th New York Film Festival. This is a behind the scenes look at the young band, with the first professionally shot live performances, plus interviews. The restored version also has extra footage.
