2000Trees 2026 Reveals UK Exclusives and a Genre-Spanning Line-Up for July

Festival season is knocking. Just a few more months to endure, and then your spine will once again be burdened with relentless headbanging and enthusiastic nodding along. 2000Trees Festival is kindly prepared to support you through it. Renowned and repeatedly awarded, 2000Trees is here to demonstrate what independent quality can look like.

The line-up? Proof that nothing bonds people faster than musical variety across genres. Exclusivity? More than provided. Some artists seem to make exceptions for 2000Trees — which is, frankly, a fantastic lure. Four days, five stages. You don’t need much more.

When? Wednesday 8th / Thursday 9th / Friday 10th / Saturday 11th July 2026
Where? Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham

Who’s showing up? A few names can be (strategically) dropped.

Fan favourites Alkaline Trio will bring their 30-year punk catalogue to the fields. Expect a hit-packed set, including a recent trio of singles produced by Travis Barker. Naturally, this remains a UK festival exclusive — so anyone missing it voluntarily can only blame themselves.

The band seem equally excited about the return:

And exclusivity doesn’t stop there. Much-loved Welsh emo legends Funeral For A Friend will also perform at 2000Trees as a 2026 show exclusive. Thirteen years after their last festival appearance, the long-awaited return is finally here.

Ryan Richards of Funeral For A Friend puts it like this:

Headlining 2000trees feels incredibly special for us. As we head into the 25th anniversary year of the band, we’re very conscious that at this stage in our career we only want to do things that genuinely mean something – things we’ve not done before – and this is absolutely one of them. 2000trees is one of our favourite festivals in the UK. It’s always carefully curated, surrounded by like-minded bands and peers, and set in beautiful surroundings that makes the whole experience feel unique. To be part of it in this way is something we’re hugely proud of.

The bill continues with blunt-force punk, scathing social commentary and barbed humour of Lambrini Girls, rock & hip-hop experimentalists Ho99o9, Marmozets, Petrol Girls, Militarie Gun — and so many more that the names could fill the entire article.

Organiser James Scarlett offers a gentle threat:
