AC/DC, OZZY OSBOURNE, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA AND TOOL ON THE SAME BILL?

You Heard Right.

Five of the biggest names in rock and metal got tongues wagging earlier after they all posted the same social media teaser. Pictures of various rock ‘n’ roll relics with the words ‘Power Trip’ in the mix, it was confirmed by speculators they very well might be talking about an upcoming festival in California this year. Guns N’ Roses are also rumoured to be performing which would complete the six band head-lineup with enough gumption to punch a hole in the stratosphere.

POWER TRIP FESTIVAL

Metallica, Iron Maiden and Tool continue to be the biggest heavy metal touring bands in the world. Metallica is set to perform two monster headline shows at Download festival this year whilst Iron Maiden completed their Legacy of The Beast tour last year. Tool have similarly been out and about, shredding their timeless metal mania upon the masses.With their consistent presence on the scene all eyes will be on Ozzy Osbourne and AC/DC. Osbourne famously had to cancel his world tour this year due to health reasons, citing the exhaustion from the travelling would have been too much. AC/DC would have followed their 2020 ‘Power Up’ album with a tour but then we all know what happened.

With Sharon Osbourne confirming Ozzy’s attendance just a few hours ago (the festival would take place not far from his home) it’s looking like the all clear for the line-up of a lifetime.
