BETH HART: NEW ALBUM, TOUR

Beth Hart is to release a new studio album in September and will play 12 shows in the UK and Ireland early in 2020.

The album is to be titled ‘War In My Mind’ and is to be put out by Mascot on September 27. It was produced by Rob Cavallo. Says Hart: “Y’know, when we did the photoshoot for this new album, it was the first time that I said, ‘No make-up and no airbrushing’. It was the first time that hearing my voice back didn’t make me sick. It was just neat to be 47 and not trying to be young, and competitive, and all of these things that I’ve always felt like I’m supposed to be. On this record, something told me, just let it be what it is, man. I think I’m starting to make a little headway, getting closer to the truth. And I might not know what the truth is… but I’m OK with that.”

The tour starts at Vicar Street in Dublin on January 31, and continues at Belfast Ulster Hall February 2, Brighton Dome 5, London Eventime Apollo 8, Birmingham Symphony Hall 9, Cardiff st. David’s Hall 12, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall 14, Gateshead Sage 15, Manchester Bridgewater Hall 17, Sheffield City Hall 20, Plymouth Pavillions 22, Southampton O2 Guildhall 24. Tickets go on sale from July 26.
