BILLY F. GIBBONS READIES SOLO ALBUM

ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons is to release a solo album in September.

Titled ‘The Big Bad Blues’, it will be issued by Snakefarm Records on September 21.  Aside from Gibbons himself on guitar and vocals, the album also features bassist Joe Hardy (who co-produced the record with Gibbons), drummers Matt Sorum and Greg Morrow, keyboard player Mike ‘The Drifter’ Flanigan, and harmonica player James Harmon.

The 11 tracks include both original tracks, plus covers of songs by the likes of Muddy Waters. Watch the lyric video for ‘Rollin’ And Tumblin” here:
