BlitZ Are “Breaking Out” With New Single

Nottingham party rock n rollers BlitZ release their new single “Breaking Out” on 10th July. Here is what guitarist Kevin Simpson has to say about it….

“Breaking Out was written in lockdown. It is about breaking out of the current situation we’re in and getting back to some normality. The album was originally 10 tracks but we felt so strongly about the song that we headed back to the Recording studio ASAP. So now, in true rock fashion, “Fight To Survive” goes up to eleven!” Kevin Simpson on “Breaking Out”

The song is the 1st single from their forthcoming 2nd Album “Fight To Survive.” (Official release date for the album is 21st August via KSM Records And Entertainment)

Home Town: Nottingham

From its humble beginnings in Nottingham in 2015 , the three man rock band called BlitZ was formed.

Taking their influences from artists like Queen, Kiss, AC/DC, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Black Sabbath, Van Halen,David Bowie and Prince, BlitZ released a self produced EP in 2016. In April 2019 they released their debut album “Welcome To The Rock Show” via City Of Lights Records which received very favourable reviews from the many rock industry media giants.

One of the hardest working bands on the circuit, BlitZ give 100% in Blood, Sweat and maybe even some Rock n Roll Tears and their live performances have gained them a strong and loyal following while supporting the likes of Germany’s The New Roses, Australia’s The Black Aces, Zodiac Mindwarp and Marco Mendoza (Dead Daises, Whitesnake)
