BLOODSTOCK ANNOUNCES SECRET SET + MORE BANDS

As Bloodstock draws closer, the festival have announced that there will be a “very, *very* special surprise set from an internationally renowned band” on Friday afternoon over on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.
While that’s all the clues they’ll give us, we’re pretty confident that you won’t want to miss it!
They’ve also announced a whole cohort of new bands that we can name:
SYLOSIS (replacing SACRED REICH, Main Stage, Saturday)
SISTER SHOTGUN (opening Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday as Planet Rock’s competition winners – congratulations!)
THUUM (Sophie Lancaster Stage, Thursday)
MECHANIZED, TUMANDUUMBAND and HELLFECKTED (Friday, New Blood Stage as winners of Metal 2 The Masses 2022 – congratulations!)
AMBRIUS (New Blood Stage, Saturday)
VICTION (Saturday, New Blood Stage as winners of Metal 2 The Masses 2022 – congratulations!)
DRIP FED EMPIRE and UNBURIER (Sunday, New Blood Stage as winners of Metal 2 The Masses 2022 – congratulations!)
CALLOUS HANDS, DEVASTATOR, PROLAPSE AD, DESENSER, and DENALI (Sunday, New Blood Stage as runners-up of Metal 2 The Masses 2022 – congratulations!)
ALL HAIL DOG, VULGAR DISSECTION, SYNCOLIMA (Friday, Jagermeister Stage)
BILE CASTER (Saturday, Jagermeister Stage)
DETOXEN (Sunday, Jagermeister Stage)
Unfortunately, ENFORCED, ALL HAIL THE YETI, and SACRED REICH have had to cancel, but HEART OF A COWARD have been promoted from the Sophie Lancaster Stage to the Main Stage on Friday, filling All Hail The Yeti’s spot.
Bloodstock have also announced that alongside the ‘wear something pink’ initiative for Sylvia and The Sophie Lancaster Foundation on Sunday, Friday’s fancy dress theme for this year will be ‘Stranger Things’.
Bloodstock’s next Facebook Live event will be with Alex & Kon from Malevolence on Thursday 28th July at 7pm BST.
