Budgie Singer/Bass Guitarist Burke Shelley Passes Away Aged 71

Budgie singer/bass guitarist Burke Shelley has passed away at the age of 71.

The news was confirmed by his daughter Ela Shelley on Facebook, who wrote the following “It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my father, John Burke Shelley. He passed away in his sleep at Heath Hospital in Cardiff, his birth town. He was 71 years old. Please respect the family during this time.”
