Cool Britannia In Pictures

Cool Britannia Festival took place over three days from Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September and featured loads of bands and DJ sets. Here are just a few of the live action pics captured by photographer Paul Stuart-Hollingsworth on behalf of TotalRock. Paul had an awesome time and for him, the highlight of the festival were the Fun Lovin Criminals. Here’s what Paul had to say…

“When the Fun Lovin Criminals walked out on to the stage at Knebworth, Huey Morgan‘s charisma shone like a beacon and the band looked like they had just strolled off Miami beach without a care in the world.  The well-oiled professional that he is, Huey knew exactly how to work the crowd. The set featured songs old and new but all seemed relevant to today’s music scene, Scooby Snacks being a particular favourite. If Come Find Yourself  was released today, it wouldn’t sound like a 1996 release with riffs about urban life and crime so in tune with the modern era. After their Knebworth showing I’m sure the band will have many new followers, Me for one.”
