Def Leppard Launch “Rejoice” Ahead of Caesars Palace Residency and Summer 2026 Tour

They don’t need a profile write-up: the great Def Leppard are once again stepping onto the grand stage of rock ’n’ roll. What once belonged to the hip-swinging King of Rock ’n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, is now being conquered yet again by the legends themselves: Live at Caesars Palace — the Las Vegas residency kicks off on February 3rd, 2026, and runs until February 28th, 2026. That gives you 26 days to experience what qualifies as a certified highlight. And yes, they’ve already proven they can pull it off: sold-out residencies in 2013 and 2019. Spoiler alert — 2026 will likely be no different.

To get a taste of Leppard — not that it’s really necessary — there’s the new single “Rejoice” to sample. Released via EMI Records, the accompanying lyric video invites you to dive straight into the lyrical depths of these rock giants.

Def Leppard - Rejoice (Lyric Video)

On the creation of the song, lead singer Joe Elliott shares:

This song’s been an amazing journey from concept to conclusion. I said to Phil [Collen] one day, ‘I’ve got this idea for a lyric where the narrator is at absolute rock bottom and wants to rise up to a higher level. Do you have a musical piece that might match with that?’ And he said, ‘As it happens, yes I do’.

Guitarist Phil Collen adds:

I had this riff, this idea for a song a while ago actually, so when Joe came to me I created this drum loop based on a tribal sound and it fit perfectly with this other arrangement I had. I sent it to Joe and it was like magic — he sang straight over the top of it. And that’s how the song was formed. Then we gave it to Ronan [McHugh], who did a proper drum loop with different sounds. It all started gelling and just sounded like a powerful chant. We love it. It’s hard rock for us. It’s got a bit more of an ‘oomph’ than stuff we’ve been doing for a while. It’s kind of magical.

The new show promises exactly what you’d expect: immersive stage production, a new song that makes your head nod involuntarily, and — for the especially creative among us — perhaps even a little Elvis-style hip action. Classic Def Leppard hits meet fresh staging and new compositions.

And for those for whom Las Vegas feels just a touch too far away: there’s good news. A UK and European tour is lined up for June and July 2026. The tour includes a headline show at London’s iconic The O2, as well as the band’s first show in Paris in nearly 30 years, accompanied by Extreme.
This is not one you’ll want to miss. Tickets are available now.
