epidermis band line upEpidermis have just released their new album ‘June 1975’ via Garden of Delights / Proton Musikverlag.

In the year 1975, Epidermis got in touch with the producer, musician and recording engineer Fred Kersten. He suggested two days in June 1975 and that they would be be recording it in his new studio. Sadly the band did it with very bad instruments and amplifiers.

Finally, with many tracks done and 10 of those were mixed down and mastered on audiotape. The band had simply had no money and found no label to produce a LP, therefore, ‘June 1975 was moved to epidermis new lpthe archive and was forgotten.

In 2010, the violinist and partner with Rolfs new group AR Lonz, Angela Fischer, listened to some of the old recordings and ‘June 1975’ was published only for digital download.

In 2020, 45 years after the recording session, the album has now been released with a large booklet, many photos of the band, all lyrics in English and German and a very detailed band history.
