Meet the band with our new feature on Keep It Rock called The Inside Track. I ask bands (or band members) to come on the show and choose a couple of their own songs and tell us a bit about them – the story behind the song and then… choose a song that was a bit of an inspiration to THEM … maybe what made them want to follow a career in music in the first place…. The Year That Rocked
This week sees the turn of 1988!!
1988 was a fantastic year for album releases and important events – like the reformation of the original line-up of Kiss – – amazing albums by Britny Fox, Judas Priest, Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies and Kings X.…. the list goes on and on!!
Hopefully I’ll bring back a few memories for you 🙂
Relate The Rock?
Relate The Rock is our wee fun feature on Keep It Rock where we play three tracks back to back that are connected in some way …. and you have to guess what the connection is.
For the last teaser I played you three tracks which were Skin – House Of Love, Jagged Edge – Out In The Cold, and Kim Jennett – Let Me Be The One…. I even tossed in a bonus track which was from 1996, Our Year That Rocked, One Nation by Skin.
Did you guess the connection and RELATE THE ROCK?
