Myke Gray and Kim Jennett announce UK tour in February 2020!
“We are all so excited to announce this tour, up until now we have mainly played festivals, with a few exceptions, so to be able to play a full set is a dream. This will be the first tour I have ever done under my own name and I am truly honoured to be joined by these amazing musicians. We will be playing songs that I wrote for Jagged Edge, Skin, and Red White & Blues, hearing these songs come back to life is very humbling as a writer. Also we’ll be playing a large chunk from Kim Jennett’s forthcoming album and watching Kim develop into the star she is undeniably born to be has been a privilege.
Joining Kim & myself us for the tour will be Glenn Quinn (Son of Man) on guitar, Colin Parkinson (Temple of One/ex-Inglorious) on bass, and Rich Smith (I Am I/Power Quest) on drums.
This year has been mainly devoted to working on Kim’s solo album, and we are continuing to do that, but we are also desperate to get out and play some rock & roll, so we can’t wait for this tour to start. When I started playing music again two years ago I had no idea where it would take me and I’m loving the adventure, and hope it doesn’t end anytime soon.”

A musical career spanning three decades has seen Myke Gray gain worldwide success with UFO, Jagged Edge, Skin and Red White & Blues, and in 2017 Myke released his first solo album, ‘Shades of Gray’. The subsequent two years has been a relentless schedule of performing and recording.
Myke’s second solo show was at the 2018 Download festival, closely followed by an appearance at the Steelhouse festival. It was around this time that Myke started working with vocal sensation Kim Jennett, who is quite simply the most exciting vocalist and stage performer in the UK right now. Kim made a guest appearance on Myke’s solo album and provided the vocal on ‘Take Me Home’. A historic first show together at the Hard Rock Hell festival led to an invitation from Black Star Riders to open for them on their 2018 UK tour and an appearance at Planet Rocks Winters End Festival.
The relationship between Myke and Kim deepened when Myke began writing and producing Kim’s solo album, which has so far produced four videos: ‘Love Like Suicide’, ‘Let Me Be The One’, ‘Unbroken’ and ‘Psycho’.
Kim made her first Download appearance in 2019, with Myke as musical director. Together they also headlined the 2nd stage at The Rock & Blues Custom show, which led to an invitation to play the main stage next year, and on Nov 29th 2019 they will be playing at the WinterStorm festival.
Festivals for 2020 are already confirmed but are unable to announce yet. This six date 2020 UK tour will see them not only play classics like ‘Look But Don’t Touch’, ‘House of Love’ and ‘Tower of Strength’, all songs that Myke wrote for Skin, but also the singles from Kim’s forthcoming solo album to be released in 2020.
