Jimmy Farrar, who was the frontman with Molly Hatchet from 1980-2, has died at the age of 67.
He passed away from congestive heart failure, and kidney and liver failure. Last year, Farrar had three heart attacks, and underwent bypass surgery.
Farrar replaced Danny Joe Brown in Molly Hatchet in 1980, and featured on two albums, namely ‘Beatin’ The Odds’ (’80) and ‘Take No Prisoners’ (’81). He left in 1982, since which time he fronted Southern Rock All Stars and Gator Country, the latter including other ex-members of Hatchet.
