Fugitive Release New ‘Not Guilty’ Single and EP+ and 03/09/21

The new single ‘Not Guilty’ will be released on Friday 3rd September through all major download stores and streaming sites but unusually will also feature on a very limited edition signed, numbered CD of 200. The CD will take the form of an EP+ (plus).

As a download it will released as a single track, but for those who prefer the CD it will be joined by some additional songs previously unavailable on CD. Two recent singles, ‘Raised on Rock’ & ‘Back in Business’ are included PLUS three previous single edit tracks that differ from the versions available on ‘The Awakening’ album – namely ‘Slave To Love’, ‘Light It Up’ and ‘All Fired Up’. If that’s not enough we’ve also added 6 more tracks, three from each of the back catalogue albums ‘Black Planet’ and ‘In Transit’ from Michael and Ranko’s previous ‘Fugitive’ incarnations. Amazingly 2021 is the pair’s 30th anniversary year as a song writing duo so the EP celebrates their longevity. The tag EP+ (plus) is now explained! It’s a single backed up by 11 amazing tracks to give existing fans something very special for their collection for the £5 price tag but gives new listeners the chance to get to know the breadth of music we have on offer. It’s no album – that will come later – but it is more than an EP…. And at £5.00 – great value?

Fugitive 2021 is a new band emerging from the ashes of what 2020 dealt us – fresh and re-energised – the music we are making excites us more than ever before. With new drummer Pete in the ‘Engine Room’ our sound more than ever is hard to nail down. If you can pigeon hole us, we’d love to know what you hear in our stuff. We want that connection with you all… but if you enjoy hard melodic rock then what we do is for you. Our catalogue of music flows from melodic ballad to funky rock vibe to hard and heavy rock and in places… ‘metal’. We don’t just play it safe with one formula, have many influences and our breadth of life experiences colour the songs with our own unique touch and feel.

Our goal as a band is to head out from Liverpool across the UK and beyond to meet you all out there celebrating life – living today – now, here in the present. We might be slightly older than some, but we are ALIVE and kicking and we damn well want to rock!

Looking to the future… Fugitive are back out playing live on their 2021 ROAD TRIP and are planning new music for an as yet untitled follow up album to cement all the new music together into one package, with a UK Headline Tour for 2022 in discussion – exciting times are ahead for us. That’s the message we want to get out, we want to share that with you all and create a bunch of exciting memories together.
