Gaijin release “Children of Dust” – Progressive/technical death metal from Mumbai!

Gaijin, the progressive/technical death metal band from Mumbai, India, is excited to announce the release of their new album, “Children of Dust“. Formed by Vinit Jani and Jay Pardhy, Gaijin is known for their intricate compositions and technical prowess. This album features the exceptional drumming of Conny Pettersson, famed for his work with Anata. The production is masterfully handled by Pierre Remillard, marking his second collaboration with Gaijin. Remillard, known for producing albums for notable bands such as Gorguts, Beneath the Massacre, and Martyr, brings his signature touch to this project.
“Children of Dust” is an instrumental journey that acknowledges our irrelevance on the cosmic scale. It is not belittlement or nihilistic; it is an acceptance of our origins and our inevitable destiny. It is humility and freedom. We are the children of the stars, and like all things—living or gleaming, infinitesimal sentient flickers or timeless supermasses—shall return to dust.
