GANDALF’S FIST PUT OUT OLD TIME SINGLE!

Gandalf’s Fist are to release new single ‘The Waxwork Downs’ on June 14.

This will be out out as a mono edition on wax cylinder! This was the earliest commercial format for storing recorded sound for reproduction. But it’s not been in regular use since 1929. Says frontman Dean Marsh: “We’re sick of these new-fangled musical mediums like these ‘Vinyl Records’ taking over! We’ve decided to take recorded music back to its roots – It’s high time the phonograph machine made a comeback! We spent time creating a special mono mix and edit of the track to make use of the antique medium’s attributes and given the hand-crafted nature of each Cylinder, are releasing the single in strictly limited numbers!”

The prog band release new album ‘The Clockwork Prologue’ on July 1.
