What day is it? It’s Friday! And ‘The Future is a Foreign Land’, according to Ghost’s surprise drop today!
Featured in the end credits with an accompanying video (not yet revealed), we can tell you that this is an uncovered third recording from Papa Nihil from back in 1969 when he fronted the short lived outfit. This isn’t giving anything away for the storyline of the film. ‘The Future is a Foreign Land‘ has a contemporary 60s sound, a bit psychedelic and a bit spaghetti. The narrative, in keeping with the second summer of love, a love song from Papa Nihil to Mother Imperator, and talks of world troubles and peace.
As ever, there are cryptic clues? What is the significance of 1984?..
