Girlschool bassist Enid Williams has left the band for the second time.
In a statement, Girlschool have said: “Girlschool would like to wish Enid all the best in all her future ventures.
“Thank you for standing by us all these years and we will see you at all the shows. We’re also looking forward to recording new material soon.”
A founder member of the band, Williams originally left in 1982, before returning 18 years later. Tracey Lamb, who Williams replaced in 2000 and has herself just left Rock Goddess, will temporarily step in for upcoming live shows, prior to a permanent bassist is sought.
