GRACE SOLERO RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘AWAKE’

TODAY SEES THE BEGINNING OF THE FOURTH CHAPTER FOR ROCK BAND GRACE SOLERO

GRACE SOLERO are a four piece Rock band from London led by the homonymous singer / songwriter Grace Solero, ‘the lady with the big voice’, whose impressive range and technique, intensity in the delivery and great stage presence have graced audiences on either sides of the hemispheres for over a decade. Often compared to the likes of Alanis Morissette and Skin of Skunk Anansie, Solero is a classy yet fervid Rock act exuding the elegance and poise of the divas of the big stage.

With three studio albums under their belt, including a re-issue of the first record New Moon, the GRACE SOLERO band are now in the process of mixing their fourth album Metamorphosis, which sees Producer Chris Brown (Radiohead, Muse), and which is due for release in 2021.

The first single Awake certainly marks a further milestone in the band’s career.

The song opens with an atmospheric guitar intro preceding an explosion that sees deeply haunting riffs, sultry escalating vocals perfectly showcasing the extent of Solero’ s range and an ambience created by the muted yet uplifting beat.

Great are the dynamics, where the choruses are charged, memorable and simply mesmerising, while the song remains sparse and airy when away from the hooks.

Ample space is given to the rhythm section on the bridge, while Solero beautifully enhances that effect with ethereal ad-libs. A very tasteful guitar solo then follows playing off the flow of the vamping riff and finally the refrain to give it the closing eruption.

Captivating from the very start, Awake will take you through a journey into the depth of your consciousness, in a place of calm, beauty and indeed ‘awakening’. A simply stylish track that can only guarantee great anticipation for what is yet to come with the rest of the album.
