JEFFERSON AIRPLANE CO-FOUNDER DIES

Marty Balin, was a co-founder and vocalist with the massively influential Jefferson Airplane, has died at the age of 76.
His death was announced by Jefferson Starship, an offshoot of the Airplane, on their Facebook page: With heavy hearts, we learn today of the passing of Marty Balin. He was a true talent and inspiration to many. We send his family and friends our deepest condolences. Your love songs will live forever. RIP Marty Balin.”
So far, no cause of death has been confirmed. Balin help to found Jefferson Airplane in 1965, and a decade later was part of Jefferson Starship. He also had a solo career, and in 1996 was inducted with the rest of the Airplane into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
