Jordan Red Tear Up The Stage With Their Own Brand of High-Octane Rock-Alt-Industrial Metal at the Maid of Stone Festival!

Written by on September 17, 2023

With the formidable Dan Leigh on vocals, axeman and riff ripper Dan Baker on Guitar, the brilliant Conor O’Keefe on bass and the first-class skins-man Paul White on drums, Jordan Red performed a seamless set of alternative rock and high-octane metal with a smack of an industrial sound to a delighted audience at the Maid of Stone Festival. During their sensational 12 song set, they kept the audience captivated as they delivered track after track of first-rate tunes such as ‘Spilling My Blood’ from their 2022 debut album ‘Hands That Built The World’ with its driving guitars, powerful vocals and ‘Awake’ with it’s epic sound. A track that’s catchy as hell and as radio friendly as it gets!

Another highlight was ‘Freak Show’ with its fierce punk edge, a song that shouts about the toxic impact of today’s cancel culture. Tracks like ‘Beautiful Monsters’ had more of a modern punk vibe full of aggressive yet contagious energy, with its compelling and hard-hitting lyrics and Leighs formidable vocals that had the crowd screaming for more!

Jordan Red could be considered a relatively new band, not that you’d know it seeing them on stage. They are as tight as it gets, their sound is flawless and their lyrics thought provoking to say the least!! And they are good, not just pretty good, worth whacking on your Spotify when you fancy an after-work metal hit good, but outstandingly good!! With Bakers colossal guitar riffs and hooks, Leighs distinctive and searing vocals, they are on another level good and well worth checking out if you haven’t done so already!!

Their debut album ‘Hands That Built The World’ is out now! For the latest tour dates or to pick up their album:
