Bottle Rock Festival Is In For A Treat

‘Dogstar’, Hollywood legend Keanu Reeves’ alt-rock/grunge band will be gracing the big stage in Napa, California this May 27th. The trio last performed back in 2002 and have since been working on new material rumoured to be showcased in their upcoming gig. Formed in 1991 Dogstar features Keeves on bass, Rob Mailhouse on drums and Bret Domrose on guitar. A chance encounter between Reeves and Mailhouse led to the musics fruition. The band released 2 albums, one in 1996 (Our Little Visionary) and the other in 2000 (Happy Ending). Performing all over the world their final performance took place in Japan 2002. With Reeves focussing on his Hollywood career Dogstar broke up, reuniting for a hot second to record the track ‘Shine’ on the 2004 ‘Mr. Big’ tribute album. The guys have been teasing a reunion since July 2022 when they released a not-so-cryptic statement declaring “We’re back. #tbt”.
