KILLSWITCH ENGAGE: NEW ALBUM, TOUR
Written by Malcolm Dome on June 25, 2019
Killswitch Engage are to release a new album through Music For Nations on August 16.
It’s to be titled ‘Atonement’, and the first single ‘Unleashed’ is available now. Says frontman Jesse Leach about the song:
“‘Unleashed’ is about inner passion and rage coming up to the surface. We all have that wild within that often stays dormant until a tragic event triggers and awakens it. This song is about that awakening within. I feel we were able to capture something raw and intense on this song and I’m stoked for everyone to hear it! The new album ‘Atonement’ is a reflection of perseverance and passion through the trials and suffering of our existence.
The band have also announced six UK headline dates for the autumn. These are Norwich UEA October 14, Bristol o2 Academy 15, Glasgow Barrowland 17, Manchester Academy 18, Birmingham O2 Academy 19, London O2 Brixton Academy 20.
