Kimmo Kuusniemi Announces That Sarcofagus Are To Call It A Day!

Sarcofagus, the godfathers of Finnish Heavy Metal, fronted by filmmaker and Guitarist Kimmo Kuusniemi [pictured], has declared that the band has returned to the ‘Valley Of The Kings’.
Kimmo explains the reason behind the reason to call it a day with the band ”Ending Sarcofagus has been in my mind for quite a long time, but during 2020, it became very clear that there is no space for Sarcofagus in my mind anymore. Time for a Reset. Since Covid started, I have been working on a new audio visual project that combines my need to create something new in both Music and in Film. There is already several songs finished with collaborations with great musicians from Siberia to Los Angeles. This project will be released as a album, video and World Tour, sometime in the near future.”
