Keith M Thomson, frontman and songwriter for cult Folk-Punk band The Penny Black Remedy, will be releasing his first new song since his pre-pandemic solo album, ‘A Death In Kreuzberg‘. The song, entitled ‘Sinkhole’, will be released as a single digitally and on very limited edition 7” clear vinyl on Friday 13th May 2022 on the Super8Singles Club label.
A fittingly vertiginous mix of danceable electronic beats and KMT’s favoured reverberous, twangy guitars, the song hints at the universally tumultuous nature of the last few years.

The single will be accompanied by the b-side, ‘Verena In The Mornings’, a hypnotic tale of isolation, addiction and deteriorating mental health. Both songs are taken from Keith’s forthcoming third solo album, to be released later this year.
