Round 2 for Limp Bizkit at Gunnersbury Park 2023

Following their show this year at Wembley Arena back in April Limp Bizkit prepares for their second and biggest UK show at Gunnersbury Park on the 13th of August 2023. Together with Pendulum, KennyHoopla, Joey Valence & Brae, and Deijuvhs they expect to draw around 30,000 fans.

Emerging in the mid-1990s from Jacksonville, Limp Bizkit’s unique blend of talents created a groundbreaking sonic experience. Their nu-metal legacy blends rap and hardcore rock. “Significant Other” (1999) brought hits and rock prominence. “Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavoured Water” (2000) led to global stardom. After a hiatus, Limp Bizkit returned in 2009, touring and releasing “Gold Cobra” (2011). “Still Sucks” (2021) came after anticipation.

Who is supporting?

Limp Bizkit are being supported by a number of massive artists at Gunnersbury Park, including the iconic Pendulum. The tech-rock band, rooted in drum ‘n’ bass and fusing electronic beats, synths, and rock, will electrify the stage. Pendulum, the Australian drum and bass/rock band, boasts three platinum albums – including the renowned debut ‘Hold Your Colour’ – and achieved UK #1 and #2 spots for ‘Immersion’ and ‘In Silico’. With over a million albums sold in the UK alone, they’ve sold out global arena tours and made huge festival appearances. The band made a return with their 2021 EP ‘Elemental’, teased new music after a surprise set at Reading & Leeds and a sold-out Ally Pally performance.

Incredible support also comes from KennyHoopla, the Wisconsin-based recording artist and songwriter. His music, described as “intimate” and “thoughtful new-wave nostalgia”, resonates deeply. KennyHoopla, also known as Kenneth La’ron, hails from Wisconsin and grew up immersed in a diverse range of music, art, and breakdancing. His influences include The Drums, Funeral Suits, Common, and Teen Suicide. His music is self-labeled as “new wave nostalgia”.

Joey Valence & Brae are another supporting act for Limp Bizkit. The State College, PA rap duo recently released tracks like “Punk Tactics” and “DROP!!” from their EP ‘The Underground Sound’. With unique vocals, production, style, and high-energy antics reminiscent of ’80s rap supergroups, the duo is making waves. Their debut EP solidified their presence and masterful use of social media, making them a standout act for 2023 and beyond.

Local hometown hero Deijuvhs, hailing directly from East London, is all set to give Limp Bizkit and their fellow American artists a warm welcome for their fans. Deijuvhs breaks genre norms with unabashed authenticity, drawing inspiration from Punk, Metal, Drill, Jungle, and various otherworldly genres. Resonating with an increasing audience, Deijuvhs represents tenacity and authenticity from the heart of East London.
