London Short Film Festival – TANGLED ROOTS: THE ORIGINS OF BLACK METAL

The London Short Film Festival is currently in running from the 10th – 19th January at Regent Street Cinema.
There is a special short film on show that portrays the origins of black metal at 14:30 on Saturday 18th January.
Voyaging through music videos, archive interviews and documentary outtakes, Independent arts publication ‘Becoming the Forest’ delves into the influences and surroundings that have shaped the musical subculture of black metal. Explore the origins of black metal with a video mixtape and panel discussion in ‘Tangled Roots’.
Panelists include: Una Hamilton Helle (Becoming the Forest), Louise Brown (The Quietus), Charlie Woolley (Crypt of the Wizard), Dayal Patterson (Cult Never Dies).
