‘NOT FORGIVEN’
British rock icons Magnum releases a new single and lyric video today – Not Forgiven – and is taken from the forthcoming studio album The Serpent Rings

Previous LP, 2018’s Lost on the Road to Eternity, landed the band their highest charting album in almost 30 years after it peaked at #15 in the main UK album charts following a string of key radio support from the likes of Planet Rock Radio, BBC Radio 2 playlist ‘C-List’ and live to air interview and performance on the BBC Radio 2 Michael Ball show, BBC regional stations and dozens of regional ILRs
Formed in Birmingham, England in the early 70’s, Magnum have become a much loved and integral part of the UK’s rock scene. They have been one of the most charismatic British rock acts for more than forty years and have their music stand out to this day.
Despite some line-up changes, the core of the band, Tony Clarkin and Bob Catley, has always remained consistent and they have enjoyed much success over their 20 album career, including multiple Top 10 albums
Magnum’s most significant early success was UK #17 album Chase the Dragon in 1982 and included several songs that would become mainstays of the band’s live set, notably “Soldier of the Line”, “Sacred Hour” and “The Spirit”. They achieved their commercial peak in 1988 when they entered the UK Top Ten for the first time with the #5 album Wings of Heaven, which spawned three Top 40 singles, “Days of No Trust”, “Start Talking Love” and “It Must Have Been Love”
It was followed by the UK #9 album ‘Goodnight LA’ and produced another Top 40 single for the band, “Rockin’ Chair”
Magnum will hit the road in the UK and 2020 in support of The Serpent Rings, which continues across Europe into May
