Chay Woodman
Chay Woodman shows
Starting as a music columnist in the mid-90’s for a local newspaper led to Chay writing for the Daily Record, Kerrang, Classic Rock, Sunday Mail, Loaded and many more. He still writes occasionally but prefers to avoid scribbling reviews at the eternal hour of 3am.
Along with a decade on the booking team at The Wickerman Festival and various booker/press roles across other Scottish festivals, including co-creating Electric Fields, he still works for Doune The Rabbit Hole & Eden. Chay also has a normal job plus 3 specialist radio shows on Alive107.3 in Dumfries.
When he’s not listening to music, he’s listening to music. The awkward 80’s kid wearing Iron Maiden’s Powerslave shirt at school grew up to be the less-awkward adult in a Melvins shirt. Most likely to: wear black.
