I’ve listened to rock music since I was a lad and the highlight of my week was hiding in my room listening to (and taping – but don’t tell anyone) Tommy Vance And The Friday Rock Show. My personal tastes are more in the Hard Rock/AOR and bluesy rock vein and this is the kinda stuff I tend to play. I started off playing what people NOW call classic but as I’ve discovered newer bands that sound classic. (The stuff they tag as NWOCR) .. I play a lot of that too. I’m more than happy to give good unsigned bands a play and a plug on the show, listener requests and dedications and firmly believe that these shows are for YOU!

Relate The Rock  – a bit like the Friday Night Connection but there’s no £10 record token 🙁

The Inside Track – basically a one-sided interview where bands come on the show and tell you a bit about what’s behind their music and influences.

The Year That Rocked – I choose a year in music and devote one section of the show to tracks from that year and chuck in some useless trivia too.
