I’m Smudge – yes, it’s my real name! Born and bred in London between Rock Goddess and Girlschool. Literally lived in between them in the same area of London.
First gig was the Cambridge Folk Festival in 1972 when I was three years old. Been gigging ever since.
First introduction to rock music was probably Slade and Sweet on T.V in the 70’s before I heard Rush and Judas Priest then there was no going back!
I can honestly say I love it all from AOR to Death Metal – although I’m not so keen on Prog or Glam/Trash. If you see me at a gig or a festival please come and say hi….
For me this music thing is journey of discovery and re-discovery so join me every Tuesday at 12pm for the TotalRock Time Machine where we go back and revisit music from a chosen year.
