MOTÖRHEAD READY TO LAUNCH RUM

Motörhead are to launch their own brand of rum on December 1.

Simply called Motörhead Rum, this has been aged for the past eight years in ex-bourbon barrels, which is said to ensure the rum is of the highest quality. The ageing has been done using what is known as the Solera process. This means that as the oldest rum is taken out from the cask, younger rum is added to mature in the same cask. The result is a smooth, dark brown Dominican rum with a balanced sweetness and hints of arrack, vanilla and dried fruits.
