NOUVELLE SHARE DEBUT SINGLE ‘CANVAS’

UK post-hardcore newcomers Nouvelle have shared their debut single ‘Canvas’.
Hailing from South-West England with a sound reminiscent of mid-00’s Funeral For A Friend and Fightstar, Nouvelle are nostalgia mixed with something new and exciting, and have the recipe for something truly special.
Speaking on the single, guitarist Daniel Shannon says:
“Canvas is an anthem for the perpetually single. We wanted the music to be melancholic, while also having heartfelt vocals to portray the message of the song, which contemplates a life being comfortable outside of a relationship, while holding hope that love remains a possibility in the future.”
It’s a relatable and heartfelt slice of classic ‘heart-on-sleeve’ post-hardcore perfection that will resonate with many.
The band – comprised of vocalist Pearce Hendy, guitarists Dan Jones and Daniel Shannon, bassist Liam Browne, and drummer George Woolley – are eighteen months deep into the project, and have spent the time perfecting their sound and preparing for their debut live shows.
Keep a look out for further music and their first live shows coming in the near future – Nouvelle are a band to bookmark.
