Ozzy – Prince of Darkness – Dies at 76

Icon and inventor of heavy metal with the other members of Black Sabbath, Ozzy was truly unforgettable, a one-off who sold a hundred million records worldwide.

He died only a couple of weeks after his farewell concert ‘Back To The Beginning’, but it is fitting that the whole Metal community either attended or watched the stream to honour his invaluable contribution. Without him our music would not be the same.

The family statement said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
