Israeli Prog metal monsters SCARDUST announce ‘In Concrete Cages‘ – a live show with hurdy gurdy sensation Patty Gurdy at the Gagarin club in Tel Aviv on 22nd March.

Two years to the day after the heartbreaking last minute covid-induced cancellation of modern-folk-star Patty Gurdy’s performance with us, Patty is coming to Israel to join forces with us in a full live show!

Israeli Symphonic Prog Metal extraordinaires, Scardust, are known for their theatrical and energetic live shows as well as virtuoso vocal and instrumental performances. Following the release of their critically acclaimed second full length album ‘Strangers‘  in October 2020, the band has performed whenever possible under Covid rules, headlined the IMF festival in Tel Aviv as well as performing a live stream to thousands of fans around the world.

Patty Gurdy is a young folk pioneer, known for her popular youtube channel as well as her brilliant hurdy gurdy skills. Patty brought this ancient instrument to the worlds of rock and pop and made it accessible to new audiences, spearheading a revival in the instrument’s popularity among millions around the world. Patty has become an inseparable part of the Scardust family, due to her close friendship with Noa Gruman, singer of the band. In 2019, Patty participated in the band’s performance in Berlin after which they wrote the song “Concrete Cages” together as part of the 2020 album ‘Strangers‘.
