Written by on December 5, 2018

Queens Of The Stone Age are to release their version of ‘Silent Night’ shortly, with all proceeds going to the Sweet Stuff Foundation and Support Act charities.

Josh Homme has teamed up with Aussie blues guitarist CW Stoneking to record this song, On the B side, Homme reads ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas’, together with his wife Brody Dalle and their three ‘merry making elves’.

This is to be issued digitally on December 7, with a limited edition seven inch version available from December 14.

Homme began the Sweet Stuff Foundation in 2013 to help support those musicians, recording engineers and their families struggling with illness and disability. Support Act has a similar vision. It  was founded in 1997 by AMCOS, APRA, ARIA and PPCA to provide support for Australian musicians.
