RICK WAKEMAN TO MAKE ONE FINAL ‘JOURNEY’

Rick Wakeman is to play two final shows celebrating the album ‘Journey To The Centre Of The Earth’.

These will happen at the Royal Festival Hall in London on July 13 and 14. It’s appropriate that it will at this venue where he will play the classic album one last time, because it was here on January 18, 1974 that the work was first performed and recorded for the album.

Wakeman will also be celebrating his 70th birthday at these shows, where the keyboard maestro will be joined by The Orion Orchestra, The English Chamber Choir and The English Rock Ensemble, with special guest appearances from Alfie Boe and Robert Powell.
