SACRED REICH TO RELEASE SPLIT SINGLE

Sacred Reich are teaming up with Iron Reagan for a split seven inch single.

This is to be released on April 19.  Sacred Reich’s contribution is new song ‘Don’t Do It Donnie’, while Iron Reagan offer up ‘They Scream’.  This will be limited to 1000 copies. Says Reich frontman Phil Rind: “We are stoked to do a split with Iron Reagan.  When we began as a band in 1986, we were influenced lyrically by punk bands and the Reagan era, so this is a great way to get back to our roots.  The song is a heavy and cheeky middle finger to the politics of today. You’d think we’d have learned by now! There is a reason our first record is called ‘Ignorance’.”

Sacred Reich have just finished recording new album ‘Awakening’ with producer Arthur Rizk at the Platinum Underground Studio in Arizona. It features new rhythm guitarist Joey Radziwill, who has taken over from founder member Jason Rainey, who has been forced to leave due to health issues.

The album will be released later in the year by Metal Blade.
