Scardust to release a series of Nightwish covers

Scardust release a live cover of Nightwish’s Élan as the first of their tributes to the much loved icons of symphonic metal.

On 23^rd December 2021 progressive metal superstars SCARDUST along with selected guests from the Israeli metal premiership and supported by the Hellscore choir gathered to perform a very special night of music devoted to one iconic band – SCARDUST’S NIGHTWISH TRIBUTE!. Over the next few months a number of video highlights from that magical night will be released, starting with Élan released 31^st March 2022.

This live version of Élan features the Hellscore and Scardust’s former bass player, Yanai Avnet, on the flute.

“I think it’s obvious that Nightwish has a big impact on Scardust’s music. We chose to release Élan because we love the song’s ‘thirst for life’ attitude and because of Yanai’s wonderful flute playing.” says Scardust drummer Yoav Weinberg,
Noa, the singer of the band, adds: “I grew up listening to Nightwish. It was one of the bands that inspired me the most growing up, so to me it was like going back to 16 years old Noa and making her dream come true in a way.”
