HollowstarHailing from Cambridge, Hollowstar have made an immediate impact on the rock world since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2019. Surging into the top five in the ‘Best New Band’ category at Planet Rock’s 2019 Awards, the band are carving out their own route to the top, paved with hard-hitting riffs and cemented by melodic yet inherently impactful lyrics which have seen them touring Europe with the likes of Skid Row, Graham Bonnet and Dan Reed Network and landing prestigious Festivals slots such as Steelhouse Festival.

Wolf JawWolf Jaw (formerly known as Bad Flowers) formed in the depths of The Black Country in 2014 forging a sound steeped in the raw, passionate energy of the areas 70’s heroes but all the time keeping it in this century. Following the release of their debut self-titled EP in 2016 the band have since toured with the likes of Crobot as well as playing Download Festival in 2018(?).

Also hailing from Cambridge, False Hearts have a powerful sound reminiscent of everyone from Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry, Muse, The Pretty Reckless and Shinedown. Born in 2016, the modern rock quartet fronted by vocalist/guitarist Emma Hodgson have racked up an impressive list of accolades; the rising rockers have a movie credit for their single, Cynical Love, which appeared on the soundtrack of Strangers 2: Prey at Night which reached the Top 30 on the iTunes Rock Chart as well as supporting the likes of Hollowstar, Austin Gold, Those Damn Crows and Mason Hill.

The Hot one twoThe Hot One Two also hail from the East of England. Cramming contagious riffs, face-contorting solos and monstrous beats in to their tracks, the guys put a modern spin on the Classic Rock sound of the 70s and 80s.

‘TotalRock Sessions: From KK’s Steel Mill, in partnership with House of Tours’ aims to provide the UK rock scene with an opportunity for a series of streamed and ‘hybrid’ gigs all recorded live at KK’s Steel Mill venue in Wolverhampton.

The partnership sees the companies working together to provide promoters and bands with a full top-spec production show in one of the most prestigious rock venues in the UK – all fully live streamed and with a live audience where permitted.

Unlike a lot of streamed gigs, TotalRock Sessions will feature a top-level production including LED wall and pyrotechnics with a full film and production crew, sound editing and mixing.

TotalRock will also broadcast and promote elements of the performances across its multiple platforms including its much-loved radio station as well as providing presenters to host the streams and interview bands.

Tony Wilson, MD and owner of TotalRock said: “Supporting new talent and providing a platform for people to be heard, and more recently seen, has always been at the forefront of the TotalRock ethos and this venture is a perfect example that we are proud to support and be part of”.

Stu Phillips, Managing Director of House of Tours said: “I am incredibly proud and privileged once more to be able to produce a show that can be watched by a Global Audience with the support of the mighty TotalRock Team. This fantastic line-up of some of the best up & coming rock bands in the UK today emphasises the need for support as they are the future of Rock ‘n Roll and without them there is no us. This is just the first of many shows and I very much look forward to the evolution of Hybrid Shows in the future while we wait for actual World Touring to resume”.

TotalRock and House of Tours are now taking bookings for future performances and promoters and managers are welcome to get in contact to book slots for their acts.
