SHOOTING GALLERIES TO RELEASE NEW SONG AND HEADLINE 02 ACADEMY ISLINGTON & NEW SONG
Birthed in the midst of a global pandemic, Shooting Galleries harnessed the collective angst, anger and attitude reflected in the world to give rise to a fresh take on Rock and Roll. With sharp riffs, heavy driving drums and dominant vocals they deliver an electrifying performance that is hard matched in the current music climate.
Brandon (Vocals & Lyrics), joined forces with Brad (Bass), Jimmy (Guitar & Vocals) and Iggy (Lead Guitar) to form the bedrock of SG. After playing with a few drummers, the boys recently found Charles to make up the pack.
Since then the band has gone from strength to strength, selling out prestigious London venues including O2 Academy Islington, Camden Assembly and Old Blue Last to name a few. They’ve also broken outside of the London circuit, playing their first gig in Manchester alongside some of the Norths up and coming talent. They also sold out BunkHouse, Swansea for Brandons first hometown gig in over 10 years. – With talks of a small European tour on the horizon, SG are a band firmly sinking their teeth into the industry.
The next release ‘9 Lives’ drops 7th June – Accompanied by a music video which will be released 14th June.
Frontman Brandon had this to say about it:
“9 Lives is about the cyclical behaviour we find ourselves in everyday. Whether its a substance or indeed, the ultimate substance of love, its easy to get addicted to the pain and pleasure it brings you. 9L is a question of just how many of your 9 Lives youve used up on these behaviours and questions whether you actually want to go cold turkey on them at all. Sometimes the substance becomes your identity and peeling yourself from it leaves you wondering where it started and you began’
Catch their next headline gig at O2 Academy2 Islington 15th June, 2024.
