SLIPKNOT MAN LEAVES AND SUES THE BAND

Chris Fehn is no longer a member of Slipknot and has filed a law suit claiming he is owed money by the band.
The percussionist, who had been a member since 1998, says in his suit that he was under the impression there was one company which handled all money made by Slipknot from touring and merchandise, and this was split between everyone in the band. He alleges to have now discovered that certain members have set up other Slipknot affiliated companies who collect money from the band. And he’s never received anything. Fehn specifically cites Corey Taylor and Shawn ‘The Clown’ Crahan of shady dealings.
This accusation has been strongly denied by the band who, in an official statement, say:
“Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6, and our upcoming shows around the world, our best ever.
“Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life. Long Live The Knot.”
