The Crobar Is Saved! Legendary Rock Bar Exceeds Crowdfund Target To Reopen
Written by Johnson Stephen on May 14, 2021
The Crobar, the legendary rock ‘n’ roll establishment, has exceeded its £95,000 #crowdfund target, allowing landlord Richard Thomas to start the hunt for a new premises.
Richard Thomas had this to say on the outcome ”We did it! Our Crowdfunder is now closed and we smashed it! Thanks to your generosity we have raised £98,595 and the hunt for a new premises has begun. From the depth of despair in July 2020, we are now looking for a new venue and it’s all thanks to you. Words do not begin to express how grateful we are for all your generosity, help and kindness and all we can say is, from the bottom of our hearts, We Salute You!.”
The £98,595 raised, secures a future for The Crobar, which aims to open in new premises in 2022, once a suitable venue has been found.
