The Melvins Announce New Acoustic Collection ‘Five Legged Dog’

The Melvins announce their most ambitious project yet:It’s a 36-song newly recorded, acoustic collection ‘Five Legged Dog’, covering the entire gamut of the legendary band’s catalogue.
This is to be released Oct. 15th 2021 via Ipecac Recordings.
”I knew I wanted to do something ridiculously big” explains singer/guitarist Buzz Osborne of the band’s first ever acoustic offering before adding ”36 songs re-imagined by us acoustically is certainly ridiculous but it works. I’m very excited about this record. I think it’s a very special record. I can’t think of anyone else who’s done something like this.”
The collection, which is available for pre-order now via this link https://lnk.to/MelvinsFLD will be released digitally, as a double-disc CD on Oct. 15 2021 with a 4LP coloured vinyl release arriving on Jan. 28 2022.
