Written by on January 28, 2019

The Who are to play at Wembley Stadium on July 6.

This is part of their symphonic ‘Movin’ On’ tour, and will be see the iconic band joined by an orchestra. Support will come from Pearl Jam vocalist Eddie Vedder and the Kaiser Chiefs, with more acts to be confirmed. Tickets go on sale from 10am on February 1.

“Be aware Who fans!,” says frontman Roger Daltrey. “Just because it’s The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete Townsend and I deliver our music. This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on.”

“Roger christened this tour Moving On!,” adds Townsend. “I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all.  Are you ready?”
