Thin Lizzy are to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the ‘Black Rose: A Rock Legend’ album at this year’s Steelhouse Festival.
The band are to headline the festival on July 28, and will play the album in its entirety in a UK exclusive performance. Says guitarist Scott Gorham:
“I am very happy to get Lizzy back together this summer – it’s always been my intention to keep the band going and bring the amazing catalogue of songs to old and new fans alike. Having an anniversary year in 2019 is an ideal time to put some shows in the diary.
“As It’s the 40th anniversary of that record, Steelhouse came to us with the idea of doing a Black Rose set – so how could we refuse!”
Also added to the festival bill are Uriah Heep, Canadians The Wild! and Midlands band Liberty Lies.
Steelhouse happens at Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm on the edge of the Brecon Beacons from July 26-28.
