Tool Announce North America Tour Dates

Written by on June 6, 2023

The Band Are Back On The Road

For the first time since 2019 Tool will be hitting the road later this year. Tickets go on sale 9th June 10am local time, with plenty of opportunities to grab exclusive extras such as VIP packages, soundcheck access, premium merchandise and remaining options. The announcement came after they already confirmed sets at the upcoming festivals Powertrip, Aftershock, Louder Than Life.  The last few weeks have seen them headline both Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple meaning this recent tour update is only the tip of the already steeping Tool iceberg of shows this year. Tool will also be promoting new merchandise which will no doubt feature a plethora of updated artistic designs. Their artwork has become a bit of a rocker necessity and the promise for newer, fresher takes will be on sale.

Tool released their last album, ‘Fear Inoculum’ back in 2019 to widespread critical acclaim. Two of the records songs received Grammy nominations whilst the title track also nabbed a Guinness World Record for longest song ever to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Last year the band released ‘Opiate2’, a re-recorded and re-worked version of their 1992 EP ‘Opiate’. Running for four and a half times longer than the original the EP included extended instrumentals as well as re-imagined book ends to each track. Though it was thirteen whole years in between their last two records Tool have promised their fans it won’t be that long until the next.
