Arctangent is a festival like no other. A feast of progressive & technically inclined metal, with well over 100 bands including Opeth, Cult Of Luna, Tesseract, Zeal & Ardor, Amenra, Mclusky, Lightning Bolt, Jamie Lenman, Bossk, Palm Reader, The Armed, The Locust, Earthtone9, A.A. Williams, Emma Ruth Rundle, Caspian, Conjurer and many more
With 5 alternating stages, the best food traders and independent breweries, the most chilled out audience and a 3 hour silent disco every night, arctangent is the perfect summer escape from reality!

For the first time ever, we’re opening ArcTanGent’s doors a day early, with a stacked line-up of bands from 2pm on Wednesday including The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Sugar Horse, Memory of Elephants, Luo, Mother Vulture, Modern Rituals, Mutant-Thoughts, Olanza, The Road, My Octopus Mind, and Lightning Sharks, followed by DJs after dark. Let’s start the party early, avoid the Thursday morning drive, pick the best camping spot and wake up refreshed and ready to do it all over again. “2022 is undoubtedly going to be the biggest ATG yet!” says James Scarlett. It’s been 2 years without ATG so we are excited to get started!”
The beguiling and incredible Emma Ruth Rundle joins the line up this year, fresh from the release of her stunning new album ‘Engine of Hell’. Also added today include New York experimental, aggressive and progressive 4 piece Car Bomb, Danish shoe-gaze metal band MØL and the majestic doomy and abrasive Slow Crush.
